THE NIGHT ALIVE by Conor McPherson Oct 13-22nd.

  • The Chain Theater 312 West 36th Street, 4th floor New York, NY, 10018 United States (map)

I am so excited to share this show with New York City! Exactly a year ago I began work on this play with the graduating class of The Stella Adler Conservatory. It was the first time we had all been in a room together rehearsing a play in over two years. We became deeply connected to the work and the play served as a roadmap of sorts for creating and appreciating the human experience once again.

I was honored when the actors then asked me to direct another production for the public. The cast includes two new amazing actors: Irishman John Duddy ( https://g.co/kgs/3K3usG) and Englishman Lloyd Peters (https://g.co/kgs/6jhanE).

"The Night Alive" takes place in a dilapidated room of a decrepit Edwardian home in North Dublin, which is the home of Tommy- a man struggling to get by. The play follows four desperate souls whose sense of true self and the world are ignited by Tommy's rescue of a young woman one harrowing October night.

The show runs for 11 performances only: Oct 13-22 at The Chain Theater 312 West 36th, 4th floor. Tickets are $ 25 and evening shows begin at 7:30 with two Sunday Matinees Oct 16 & 17th @ 2pm, in addition to evening shows on those days.
