"The December Man" by Colleen Murphy @ The Sheen Center Festival

A New York Premiere @ The Sheen Center!

JUNE 28, 2018

Once again, Kathy is honored to both curate and direct with the second annual Sheen Center New Play Festival, June 21-24th!  "The December Man" is a Canadian Governor's General's award winning play that explores the aftermath of the Montreal Massacre of 1989, and the contagion of grief that infects the family whose son Jean, flees the shooting.

The New York Premiere (a staged reading) will feature the talents of Gayton Scott* (Kate), Andy Prosky* (Benoit) and Ty Corbin (Jean), assisted by Josephine Cashman.

This searing drama on courage, heroism and despair explores the long private shadow that public violence casts.
